Local artist's vibrant works on display from February 16 to March 30, 2026 |
The Boca Raton Public Library is proud to present the art exhibit, “Paintings by Boca Raton Artist Sandra Gorman”, running from February 16 through March 30, 2026.
Sandra Gorman, a lifelong resident of Boca Raton, has been immersed in painting since her youth.
Encouraged by her teachers, she pursued formal studies at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League in New York, as well as the Boca Raton Museum of Art School.
Her artwork has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions across South Florida and New York.
Gorman's portfolio includes oil, acrylic, and pastel pieces, focusing on portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
She describes painting as her passion and is continually exploring new materials and mixed media, recently delving into large, abstract compositions.
Inspired by nature and her surroundings, Gorman draws influence from both renowned impressionist and contemporary abstract artists.
The exhibit is located on the second-floor Art Gallery at the Spanish River Library, 1501 NW Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
Admission is free during regular library hours.
Visitors can also enjoy other cultural events in Boca Raton during this period.
The Festival of the Arts BOCA celebrates its 20th anniversary from February 27 to March 8, 2026, at Mizner Park Amphitheater, featuring a diverse lineup of performances and discussions.
Additionally, the Boca Street Fest returns on March 28, 2026, offering live music, local vendors, and community engagement throughout Mizner Park.
