Boca Raton Woman Faces Multiple Charges After Fleeing Police Following Bowling Alley Incident |
35-year-old arrested for DUI and eluding officers after disturbance at local bowling alley |
Fernanda Blanco, 35, of Boca Raton, is facing several charges after allegedly fleeing police multiple times following a disturbance at the Strike 10 bowling alley.
On November 17, 2025, around 1:55 a.m., officers responded to a call at the bowling alley and observed a woman, later identified as Blanco, stumbling toward a black Volkswagen SUV.
As she attempted to drive away, she struck a curb.
Police initiated a pursuit after Blanco made a U-turn over a solid median on Federal Highway.
Despite multiple attempts to stop her, including the use of lights, sirens, and an air horn, Blanco continued driving, eventually stopping in a parking garage.
Upon arrest, Blanco provided a false name and date of birth before admitting her true identity.
Officers noted signs of intoxication, and she admitted to consuming three Espresso Martinis and two beers earlier that evening.
Blanco refused to submit to a breath test and was charged with three counts of fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under the influence, providing false identification, and refusing to submit to a lawful test.
She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released after posting bond totaling $26,250.
Blanco's arrest underscores the dangers of impaired driving and the importance of complying with law enforcement directives.
Residents are reminded to make responsible choices and prioritize safety on the roads. |
