Models Sue Boca Raton Nightclub for Unauthorized Use of Likeness in Promotional Materials

Several models are suing a Boca Raton nightclub for allegedly using their images without permission in promotional materials.

The models claim that their photos were taken during a fashion show at the club and later used on social media and flyers without consent.

The lawsuit seeks damages for the unauthorized use of their likeness and violation of their right to publicity.

The nightclub has not yet responded publicly to the allegations.

A man was arrested in Boca Raton for driving under the influence in a Maserati after leaving a birthday party where he had been serving mango margaritas.

The man, a wealth manager, had a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit.

He was stopped by police after driving erratically and failing to maintain his lane.

The man admitted to drinking margaritas at the party and was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI.

Boca Helping Hands is seeking volunteers to help with Thanksgiving turkey distribution to families in need.

The organization is in need of additional hands to assist with packing and distributing meals.

They are also accepting donations of turkeys and other Thanksgiving-related items.

This effort is part of Boca Helping Hands' mission to provide food and assistance to those struggling in the community.

Anyone interested in volunteering or donating is encouraged to reach out to the organization.

"Downtown Boca Raton Plan: Enhancing Sustainability and Livability with Mixed-Use Development"

A new proposal for downtown Boca Raton includes more green space, 769 apartments, 196 condos, and a 180-room hotel.

The project aims to create a more sustainable and pedestrian-friendly environment in the area.

The development will also include a public plaza, retail space, and underground parking.

The proposal is part of a larger trend towards mixed-use developments that integrate residential, commercial, and recreational spaces to create vibrant urban communities.

A Boca Raton developer is seeking permission to build 394 apartments in eight-story towers instead of retail space in an empty lot off Federal Highway.

The proposal also includes a rooftop pool and parking garage.

The developer argues that there is not enough demand for retail in the area, so apartments would be more profitable.

The city has not yet approved the request, as some residents are concerned about the impact on traffic and the neighborhood's character.

Food & Energy: Nonperishable, high-calorie snacks (energy bars, nuts, dried fruit).

Replace every 6–12 months as needed.
First Aid Kit: Comprehensive kit with adhesive bandages, sterile gauze, tape, antiseptic wipes, tweezers, antihistamine, pain reliever, and any personal prescription meds.
Shelter & Warmth: Emergency Mylar blanket(s), compact sleeping bag or lightweight blanket, and a waterproof tarp — useful during unexpected overnight waits or storm sheltering.
